Maria’s Dining Room Table

As part of the first blog, I figured I would make it about my first serious project. My close friend Maria and her husband tasked me to build a sturdy table with a modern look. After kindly showing me examples of what they were looking for, I then proudly took them through the process of choosing wood samples, design concepts, and design iterations.

Due to its size and weight, the project took just over four weeks to complete and required helping hands. My partner and close friends helped with multiple parts of the project such as gluing up the tabletop, sanding, and on-site installation.
